Lady Gaga's first Oscar win wasn't the big news of the evening but her impeccable chemistry with A Star is Born co-star Bradley Cooper was! As they crooned to the Best Original Track winner at the Academy Awards 2019, Shallow, their sizzling chemistry went super viral. In fact, so viral that people started speculating that perhaps there is something going on between them. Gaga has finally reacted to the reports on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
As one of Oscar's most viral moments, Gaga was asked to comment on the rumours by Kimmel on the show. Kimmel said, "We were watching it at home and wondered, 'What's going on between these two?' And it caused this big controversy because you had such a connection with Bradley, that instantly, and I guess this is a compliment, people started saying, 'Oh, well they must be in love.'"
Gaga addressed the rumours and told the host, "First of all, social media quite frankly is the toilet of the internet and what it has done to pop culture is abysmal. And people saw love, and guess what, that's what we wanted you to see. This is a love song, the movie is a love story." The singer further added, "From a performance perspective it was so important to both of us that we were connected the entire time. I mean, look, I've had my arm around Tony Bennett for three years touring the world. When you're singing love songs, that's what you want people to feel," she said.

A Star is Born will be re-released soon as 12-minute additional footage will be added. "It's 12 minutes of additional footage — it's A Star Is Born encore — and [Cooper] did it because he was working on the version of the film for home, for when you guys buy it off the internet. So go see it in theatres, it will be out for a week," Gaga explained. What does Bradley have to say about this? We're waiting!
