Keanu Reeves just became cuter by his ignorance towards being named internet's newest boyfriend! Turns out Reeves is unaware of how the internet is gushing over or rather thirsting over him ever since he walked as himself in Netflix's Always Be My Maybe. As he walked the red carpet for Toy Story 4, where he plays a motorcycle-obsessed toy called Duke Caboom, he spoke to People where he was surprised by the internet's obsession with him. As a journalist revealed to him that he has been named the internet's newest boyfriend, Reeves said, “I’ve been what?” He further added, “That’s, uh, that’s wacky. Well, the positivity’s great.” Keanu continued speaking about how his recent projects such as John Wick 3 and Netflix's Always Be My Maybe have been appreciated by fans. “It’s really special how John Wick was embraced, and working on Always Be My Maybe, great, you know. Ali Wong and Randall Park [are] just really wonderful artists and people, and it was really cool to get a chance to play with them,” as he spoke about his Always Be My Maybe co-stars. Speaking about his Toy Story 4 character, a motorcycle-obsessed toy Duke Caboom, Reeves said, “I just kind of got inspired. The character’s so full of life. He’s a showman, he’s a daredevil. So when he’s on the bike, I was just — like, he keeps doing poses, you know, and he can’t stop. They put it into the film, so it was nice.” Further delving into the details of his character's physique, Reeves said, “They took some of the physicality that I was talking about for the character, and doing the poses. I think it’s really remarkable how Pixar and the directors kind of do the physical comedy, the emotion, and so for me, I was really happy with what they did with Duke Caboom.”
Toy Story 4 is set to release on June 21 and also stars Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Annie Potts, Tony Hale, Keegan-Michael Key, Madeleine McGraw, Christina Hendricks, Jordan Peele, Keanu Reeves and more in pivotal roles.
