Judy: Renee Zellweger Stuns as Legendary Performer Judy Garland, the Academy-Nominated Film All Set to Release in India on January 24

The latest Hollywood biopic that has left everyone stunned thanks to its lead performance is that of Renee Zellweger in Judy. The actress gets under the skin of legendary actress and singer Judy Garland. Zellweger has already swept many top honours for her portrayal of the singer with Golden Globes, SAG and Critic's Choice awards as well. While the film had a 2019 release in US and UK, the film is all set to hit the screens in 2020 in India. Ahead of the Academy Awards 2020 which has Renee competing for the Best Actress honour, you can catch the film in theatres as it will be releasing on January 24. Garland has been one of the most celebrated artists of her time. From her performance in The Wizard of Oz to A Star Is Born, Garland was loved by her fans but lived a troubled life plagued by bad marriages and substance abuse.

The makers released the trailer and captioned, “Watch the musical world of Judy Garland come to life as she juggles between showbiz and looking after her kids. “The film stars Renee Zellweger, Finn Wittrock, Rufus Sewell in lead roles. The film is being distributed by PVR Pictures in India. It's amazing that Judy is dropping right before Oscars 2020 as the Indian audiences too will get a chance to be mesmerised by Zellweger's performance. The Academy Awards are all set to be held on February 9.
