Warner Bros finally dropped the new trailer of Phoenix's next that further highlights his journey from being a stand-up comedian to a deadly villain. The movie is set in the 1980s where Arthur Fleck's (Joker) failed attempts as a stand-up comedy artist and the way others ridicule him compel him to enter the dark and deadly criminal world of Gotham City. Joker is all set to have its premiere at the Venice Film Festival followed by Toronto International Film Festival and New York Film Festival. Besides Phoenix, it has a powerful star cast of Robert De Niro, Frances Conroy, Bill Camp, Marc Maron and Zazie Beetz who plays his love interest. This Todd Phillip's directorial will hit the screens on October 4, 2019. And going by its strong buzz and the content in the trailers that we witnessed, it's going to be a strong contender for Oscar nominations.
