Trust a director like Taika Waititi to bring something new to the table every time he gets behind and this time even in front of the camera. In July, we were treated with the teaser of Waititi's upcoming film Jojo Rabbit and now, the makers have released its first official trailer. The Nazi satire defines quirky and has Waititi himself playing the role of Hitler. How many films do you know revolving around the führer that show him dancing in a merry mood? The film is being described as 'anti-satire' and we have to say the trailer looks extraordinary. Jojo Rabbit Teaser: Thor Ragnarok Fame Taika Waititi Turns Adolph Hitler in This Quirky Scarlett Johannson Comedy – Watch Video.

Waititi's Hitler stars as the imaginary friend of a 10-year-old Nazi JoJo (Roman Griffin Davis). During JoJo's Nazi training, he finds a Jewish girl, Elsa, hidden in the attic (Thomasin McKenzie), being protected by his mother (Scarlett Johansson). JoJo and Elsa start to bond, which forces him to question Nazi morals. The film also features Rebel Wilson, Alfie Allen, Sam Rockwell, and Stephen Merchant. The film's screenplay is based on Christine Leunens' Caging Skies.

In the trailer, we see Rebel Wilson in the role of Nazi child instructor. Academy Award winner, Sam Rockwell is seen as a Nazi shooting guns and Waititi's Hitler is a never-seen-before führer, frolicking and dancing around as he advises his little friend. Joaquin Phoenix's Joker, Taika Waitit's Jo Jo Rabbit, Jennifer Lopez's Hustlers And More To Be Unveiled At The 2019 Toronto Film Festival.

On playing the role of Hitler in the film, Waititi had tweeted a rather cheeky response last summer. He wrote, "What better way to insult Hitler than having him portrayed by a Polynesian Jew?” Directed by Thor Ragnarok director Taika Waititi and produced by Fox Searchlight, the film is all set to hit the screens on October 18.
