The movie was obviously at the top slot at the North American box office windows. However, to the surprise of all, the film has now slipped to the second slot. Keanu Reeve starrer John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum aka John Wick 3 has gained the top slot for the week. The neo-noir action film directed by Chad Stahelski earned a staggering $57 million in its opening weekend in North America. The fans of the John Wick franchise were obviously excited about the third instalment but no one really expected it to do so well. It is important to note that Avengers: Endgame fever is still far from over. However, with the looks of the first week collection of John Wick 3, it might fade.

John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum received a positive response from the critics as well as the masses. The film based on the tale of Kolstad also stars Halle Berry, Laurence Fishburne, Mark Dacascos, Asia Kate Dillon, Lance Reddick, Anjelica Huston, and Ian McShane, in the crucial roles.

The flick is a must-watch for all those who are Keanu fans or action-fans. The actor also earned praises for his commitment to the role. His stunt coordinator, Scott Rogers told in an interview, “Keanu has so developed his fighting and stunt skills that he doesn’t have to do any acting to come off as a fighter, which means he can bring that much more to the character.” Well, after Endgame, is it John Wick 3 fever now?
