Celebrity Jennifer Lopez's Hollywood Walk of Fame was vandalised on Tuesday. Miscreants sprayed black paint over the signer's name carved near the fame intersection of Hollywood and Vine. Police have filed a vandalism report and the incident will be investigated. J Lo was recently ranked the sixth highest paid woman in music for 2018 by Forbes.

Rapper Snoop Dogg was the latest to be honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday. He received the 2,651st star outside the El Capitan theatre. Being on The Hollywood Walk of Fame is an internationally recognised honourable achievement. People from various fields including the entertainment industry and others have five-pointed terrazzo and brass stars on the sidewalks along 15 blocks of Hollywood Boulevard and three blocks of Vine Street in Hollywood, California. The stars receive more than 10 million people annually. There are more than 2,600 stars on the 15 blocks. US President Donald Trump's star was vandalised multiple times in the past. The star was destroyed by pickaxes or sledgehammers and has even led to fights between pro and anti-Trump groups.

Jennifer is dating 43-year-old American baseball player turned entrepreneur Alex Rodriguez since last year. Lopez has 10-year-old twins Max and Emme with her former husband Marc Anthony and Rodriguez's daughters with ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis, Natasha and Ella are 14 and 10 respectively.
