Jennifer Lawrence Plans a Long Break from Movies;The Red Sparrow Actress to Focus on Corruption Prevention

Jennifer Lawrence is one of the most celebrated actresses in Hollywood. Jen will be next seen in the film Red Sparrow and is pretty excited about the flick. However, post this project, the 27- year- old actress has decided to take a year-long sabbatical from the film space. Of course, there are high plans made by the Hollywood diva for the break that she is going to take.  Lawrence will be actively participating in the awareness program about eradicating corruption and help spread the word about democracy in 2019.

While talking to Entertainment Tonight, 'The Hunger Games' actress revealed, " I'm going to take the next year off. I'm going to be working with this organisation as a part of Represent Us... trying to get young people engaged politically on a local level."

"It doesn't have anything to do with partisan (politics). It's just anti-corruption and stuff trying to pass state by state laws that can help prevent corruption, fix our democracy," Jennifer added.

This is not the first time that Jennifer made her voice heard by the fans. Earlier in an interview, she was quoted saying, "This last year has been a trying and challenging time in our world and our industry specifically. Every day, we wake up to a myriad of headlines that deeply impact us, from around the globe.”

Jennifer Lawrence was recently in the news as she walked around naked on the sets of the movie Red Sparrow. She told to the portal that everybody on the set made her so comfortable, that after a certain point she started making everyone uncomfortable! Directed by Francis Lawrence, Red Sparrow is an American spy thriller based on a novel by the same name. The flick is scheduled to hit the screens on March 2.
