Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux may have parted ways but they did reunite to hold a beautiful burial ceremony for their late dog, Dolly. While it is not clear when their dog passed away, Theroux posted a few pictures from the ceremony on his Instagram. The snaps had glimpses of their beautiful German Shepherd. Cannes 2019: Blake Lively, Deepika Padukone, Jennifer Aniston, Irina Shayk - A Look Back At The Best Looks The Red Carpet Has Seen So Far!

The former couple actually covered Dolly's body with flower petals and wrapped the late family member in a white blanket. He captioned the image as, "Tonight, at sunset, after a heroic struggle... our most loyal family member and protector, Dolly A. laid down her sword and shield. 🐺💔 She was surrounded by her entire family. “The one that never deserts, the one that never proves ungrateful... is the dog— faithful and true, even in death.” -George Vest Rest In Peace Dolly #adoptdontshop #rescuedog" Cole Sprouse Had Crush on Jennifer Aniston While Working on 'Friends'

Justin and Jennifer announced their split back in February 2018. After dating for seven years and being married for two and a half years of marriage, their split certainly broke a lot of hearts. At their 2015 weddings, Dolly was very much a part of their nuptials. While the couple did not have babies together, they sure raised their dogs with all their love and affection.

It sure is a sad time for pets in Hollywood. Just recently, reports of Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas' pupper dying in a freak accident did the rounds. We just hope these celebrities take care of themselves and let the healing process begin. As for Dolly, rest in peace.
