We are ending the year 2018 with a bang. Some big releases are scheduled in the coming month of December - Bollywood AND Hollywood. On December 21, we will see the release of Shah Rukh Khan's mega-budget VFX-heavy film Zero. On the same day, the US will see the release of DCEU's long-awaited Aquaman featuring Aquaman. Until now we were wondering if Aquaman will release the same day as Zero in India. Now, we have the answer and it is negative. The release date of the Hollywood film is out and it will hit the theatres in India a week before the US. Good call? Aquaman New Trailer: Get Ready to Witness an Epic Undersea War Between Jason Momoa and Patrick Wilson.
It is unclear what must have led the production to release the movie a week before its US release. Although it has sort of becoming a norm for Hollywood to release movies in Asian territory before anywhere else, we can't overlook the fact that Aquaman had more than that reason this time.

First of all, the release of Shah Rukh Khan's Zero would leave no screens for Aquaman. Even if it did manage to get screens, chances are low that audience will skip Shah Rukh Khan for Aquaman. We are not doubting the hype about Aquaman here at all. Isn't this better, though? All movies get enough screens and enough opportunities to make money.
Aquaman is all set to release on December 14 in India. The movie will release in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The superhero movie has been directed by James Wan.
