Pennywise is all set to scare the daylights out of you as he returns with IT Chapter 2. Part one produced by Warner Bros was a big hit and a sequel for the same was highly anticipated. However, with the sequel being a few weeks away from its release, its early reactions are dropping already and we are eager to share 'em with you. Based on Stephen King's novel, the movie was a huge hit and if these early reactions are to go by, its sequel is set to mint in more numbers.
The film's chapter one that released in 2017 was based on one-half of King's novel and revolved around the young residents of Derry. It's another half was about the same kids who return as adults to their town, 27 years later to come face-to-face with Pennywise. The sequel has a stellar star-cast of Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy, and Bill Hader and if reactions are to believe, Hader has managed to hog all the limelight. Check out some of the film's early reactions that may or may not pique your interest further in this project.
Past will meet Present
It was great to see the kids return in flashbacks, but I’m not sure if it helps or hurts the older cast, who could’ve used a little more screentime. Still, they all live up to their young counterparts well. The time jumps can be jarring at times, but you settle in. #ITChapterTwo

Awesome is the word
#ITChapterTwo is awesome. The adult cast is perfect and loved the way the film mixes in the old and new. I don't want to say too much because most of you are going to see it. Congrats to everyone that worked on it for a job well done. pic.twitter.com/b8yFZe3FzU

It's long but scarier
#ITChapterTwo is probably scarier than chapter one - more Pennywise imagery to haunt your dreams. But it also loses a lot of charm in the shift in focus from the coming of age to the now adult characters. At nearly 3 hours it feels long.

Good but not great
So, #ITChapterTwo: it's v. good, but not great. I liked it, but didn't LOVE it. First movie is a tough act to follow. TWO is gruesome, strange but rarely scary. Nails important aspects from the book, but feels overlong. Cast is aces, though, & Bill Hader SHOULD be in Oscar convo. pic.twitter.com/1KUZk5TXA1

Bill Hader steals the show
#ITChapterTwo is a terrific companion to #ITChapterOne. Similar vibes, great ensemble chemistry w/ a nice mix of humor and horror. Part 2 plays heavier in tone, dealing w/ defeating the burden of childhood trauma, & I definitely teared up at the very end. Bill Hader steals it pic.twitter.com/bjiwtJufNQ

Warner Bros has a winner already
#ItChapterTwo is a giant budget, studio-backed horror movie that’s also a fairly serious actors showcase/ensemble, with occasional flashes of brilliant imagery (like all the balloons cascading under the bridge). It’ll make more money than Warner Bros knows what to do with. pic.twitter.com/Noscq1X1j1

Oops!
It: Chapter Two is the biggest disappointment of the year. A dull & bloated mess that spends too much time rehashing things from the first film. While there are a few good moments, the film ultimately lacks suspense and scares. The performances are also a mixed bag. #ITChapterTwo pic.twitter.com/3NlauZxj2f

You will laugh so hard, you will cry
I was so lucky to see #ITChapterTwo tonight—it lives up to the first film in every way. Scarier, yes, but also more touching. I laughed so hard I cried, I cried I was so scared, I just plain cried—go see it as soon as you physically can. #ITMovie
