Before you read any further, let us remind you that the story comes with possible spoilers from Captain Marvel. So unless you've watched the film, "marvelled" at Carol Danvers' powers, learnt the history of Kree and Skrull, we advise you to tread lightly. One of the sole reasons many fans watched Captain Marvel was so that they could get any new promo or post-credit from Avengers: Endgame. Let's face it, despite being Marvel fans, not many are aware of how various characters in the comic series shape up.

That's right. After sort of, an image clean up of Skrulls in the recent MCU film, Captain Marvel, people went on to believe that the Kree are a bad clan terrorising the shapeshifting habitats, also known as Skrulls. But there are only a handful of good guys in every movie. While the Avengers are touted to be the righteous good guys saving the universe from extraterrestrial terrorists, they do have quite a lot of enemies. With that, let's talk about the possible animosity Captain Marvel might have to face from the very clan she saved in the film.

Talos from Captain Marvel

In the Captain Marvel film, Talos (Ben Mendelsohn) mentions how while they are political refugees saved by her, there are thousands of other Skrulls spread across the galaxy. This means that while there are a few Skrulls who believe that Captain Marvel, a Kree, as their saviour, there are various others spread across the galaxy who still hold the Kree as their nemesis. Which means, the first post-credit scene from Captain Marvel, where Carol Danvers pops out of nowhere in front of Black Widow and the other Avengers, could well, be a Skrull!

With their shapeshifting characteristics, they might have been able to take Captain Marvel's form? But for what joy? That is exactly what we will have to wait to find out in the upcoming Avengers: Endgame. It could be true or our speculation could be us imagining a little too much. Avengers: Endgame is set to release on April 26, 2019.
