Iggy Azalea is an Australian rapper who has currently topped the headlines not for any new track but for a serious concern. The 28-year-old has issued a statement after topless pictures of her leaked online. These pictures are from the 2016 photoshoot which Iggy did for the GQ Australia cover. The incident happened over the weekend and Iggy deactivated her Twitter and Instagram account. The singer returned to social media just to issue the statement that she is pressing criminal charges against the person who leaked her nude photographs online. The 2016 GQ’s Woman of the Year photoshoot was captured by photographer Nino Muñoz. The photographer without mentioning about Iggy shared a post and captioned it, “My heart goes out to anyone this situation has affected. I’m utterly outraged and will not rest until justice is served.” Hair colourist Matt Rez has also reacted to the post by mentioning, “Sorry to hear this”. Iggy Azalea has issued a statement that read, “Recently some outtakes from my 2016 GQ magazine cover were leaked to the public. A lot of high profile women have shot covers for GQ with a strategically placed hand ect Covering their breasts etc. I always felt they were very beautiful covers, so I jumped at the opportunity.” She also mentioned in the statement, “I never consented to taking topless pictures for potential release, period. It was my understanding BEFORE shooting, GQ do not print topless pictures.”
