And it does make sense to call out the makers of the Idris Elba figurine because it is so underwhelming! Earlier this week, People announced Idris Elba as the Sexiest Man Alive and many fans agreed to the title rightfully given to the man who deserves it.

Taking this as an opportunity, a UK company Emperis, designed a figurine doll to match the panache and charisma of Idris Elba. The result? Well, they goofed up pretty bad and people are calling them out asking for the guys who approved the doll in the first place!

Although the company did manage to strike an uncanny resemblance between Idris Elba's suaveness and debonair style, the overall appearance did not appeal to them. The lanky doll with a face that doesn't exactly match Elba's face cut, has been criticised on social media media by ardent Elba fans.While some fans are laughing out loud over the funny appearance of the doll which is supposed to be Idris Elba, others are plainly bashing the company for the absurdity they have created in the name of Elba.

Many even stated that the person who attempted the doll should be fired right away for the blasphemy they've caused. If the company ever had to do the mean tweets segment for Buzzfeed, they'd be in for some tears. Check out all the tweets of fans shaming the manufacturers.

So far Idris Elba, the smoldering superstar, has not commented on the doll that has been created with his impressions. Maybe he's still reeling from the Sexiest Man Alive title that the People bestowed on him. In his cover story for People, the actor was quoted discussing his reaction when he was told that he'd be the given the Sexiest Man title. He said, “I was like, ‘Come on, no way. Really? Looked in the mirror, I checked myself out,” he continued. “I was like, ‘Yeah, you are kind of sexy today.’ But to be honest, it was just a nice feeling. It was a nice surprise— an ego boost for sure.”
