So when Hotel Mumbai released, it reminded everyone of that gory time. The film received good reviews but presently, it is finding difficult to get many takers at the box office. The film opened with Rs 1.08 crore which is a pretty slow start. It needs to pick up in today and tomorrow to make it count at the box office. Hotel Mumbai Movie Review: Dev Patel, Anupam Kher, Armie Hammer Revisit The Horrors of 26/11 in This Emotionally Intense Saga

Hotel Mumbai got limited release which also hindered in its path of getting decent box office numbers. The film will have to rely on massive word of mouth to up its collections in next few days to sustain here.

Hotel Mumbai is directed by Anthony Maras and narrates the story of a bunch of ill-informed and insinuated young men from across the border to create mayhem in Mumbai. This movie is getting showered with praises for not over-dramatising the incident which is still so fresh in our memories. But these wounds are deep and we don't know how many people will be interested to let that come alive again.
