While The Lion King is having a good run at the Indian box office, there is another Hollywood film which came out last week. Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw arrived in theatres on Friday and took a good opening despite being a non-solo release. Yes, the action entertainer hit the screens alongside Bollywood film Khandaani Shafakhana starring Sonakshi Sinha, Varun Sharma and rapper-turned-actor Badshah in lead. While the Hindi release failed to get cash registers ringing, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, and Idris Elba starrer Hobbs & Shaw packed a solid punch at the ticket windows over the first weekend. Hobbs & Shaw Box Office Collection Day 4: Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham's Action Entertainer Witnesses a Sharp Decline on Monday

However, on Monday, the Hollywood biggie witnessed a huge drop in its collection and sadly the same happened on Tuesday as well. As per trade portal Boxofficeindia.com, Hobbs & Shaw collected Rs 4.25 crore on day 5. This means the total collection of the action flick now stands at approximately Rs 53.15 crore. Hobbs & Shaw Box Office Collection Day 3: Dwayne Johnson's Latest Offering Packs a Solid Punch in the Opening Weekend, Mints Rs 42.90 Crore

Now that figure may not seem very low but a film like Hobbs & Shaw should have definitely minted more in the first few days. Nonetheless, David Leitch's directorial venture has one more week to rake in big moolah at the domestic box office. Things will heat up at the box office from next Friday onwards as Mission Mangal and Batla House are set to arrive in cinema halls together on August 15. Till then, Hobbs & Shaw won't face much competition at the ticket windows.
