It was able to beat some of the big Bollywood releases over the opening day box office figures. The Fast and Furious spin-off was able to rake in Rs 13.15 crore on day 1, which is extremely impressive. Earlier this year, Avengers: Endgame had amassed Rs 53.10 crore on its first day of the run in India. It is certainly time that Bollywood took this movie business more seriously. It could be the subject of studies how Hollywood movies have been working better than home-grown products, for the past many years. If nothing, this is a wake-up call to the Indian film industry to innovate and re-invent. The audience has certainly evolved and is no longer accepting passable movies as entertainment.
