The actress gained popularity thanks to Friends. Well, NBC certainly hit a gold mine by bringing together six such characters who became a part of their lives. Created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman, the show first aired in 1994 and since then, Kudrow has been a pivotal part of the show. Anyway, enough about the show. #1 Kudrow received many accolades including an Emmy and two Screen Actors Guild Awards for her performance as Phoebe Buffay.

#2 The actress was raised in a middle-class Jewish family and has roots in the village of Ilya, near Minsk!

#3 Lisa originally wanted to follow her father, Dr Lee N Kudrow, in the headache treatment field. In fact, she also received her Bachelor's degree in Biology from Vassar College.

#4 Before entering the film industry, she worked with her father for eight years! And turns out she has a knack for gambling!

#5 Ahead of making it in Friends, Kudrow was supposed to play Roz Doyle in Fraiser. However, she was re-cast with Peri Gilpin. Speaking about it in 2000, the actress revealed, "I knew it wasn't working. I could feel it all slipping away, and I was panicking, which only made things worse".

#6 Kudrow, along with her co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox, made a record in the Guinness Book of World Records in 2005 to become the highest-paid TV actresses of all time. They earned $1 million per episode for the ninth and tenth season.

#10 At the age of 16, Lisa actually underwent rhinoplasty to reduce the size of her nose. She was very conscious of her body on the sets of Friends too as she felt like she was too big around co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox.
