Halle Berry has broken bones and ribs just to prove that she deserves to be a part of John Wick Chapter 3 - Parabellum. Well, that seems like a bit of a stretch. At a press conference in April, the actress admitted that she broke three ribs while filming the third chapter.

The incident took place when she was training for her role. Apparently, Halle Berry didn't even realise the gravity of the injury until five weeks later! While addressing the media at the press conference, Berry stated that she received medical attention which brought to her notice that she had injured herself. But she wears it as a badge of honour. Quoting to the media, Berry said, “You know what, it’s like a badge of honour for me,” and further added, “I don’t know how it happened. Really, we don’t know.”

Further delving into how she worried over being replaced, Halle Berry said, “What made me most happy, is I thought when that happened, I thought, ‘OK, I’m out of the movie, they’re going to replace me,’ because you know the show has to go on.” The crew did wait for her to recover from her injury though. In fact, “When I came back I actually felt better,” Berry said. Halle Berry and her two dogs will be joining Keanu Reeves in John Wick Chapter 3 - Parabellum. The film is set to release on May 17. The film also stars Laurence Fishburne.

The John Wick series starring Keanu Reeves as the central character has been a treat to fans of action flicks. With the impeccable action choreography and stunts showcased by the cast, the third part is sure to leave a huge impact on fans!
