A suit has been filed against Gwyneth Paltrow by a Utah man. The suit claims that Paltrow injured him seriously during a "hit and run ski crash" at Park City ski resort, back in 2016. The man, going by the name Terry Sanderson, added in his lawsuit that Paltrow was skiing out of control, she knocked him over and left him with a brain injury and four broken ribs. The alleged incident took place on February 26, 2016. He further claims that after Paltrow run him over, she didn't send any help and left him on the mountain.

The lawsuit reads, "Paltrow got up, turned and skiied away, leaving Sanderson stunned, lying the snow, seriously injured." Another lawsuit claims that a Deer Valley ski instructor filed a false incident report which defended Paltrow as it said that she didn't cause the crash. This is despite him not actually witnessing the crash. Apparently, the instructor yelled and accused Sanderson of the crash. Paltrow's company, Goop, also released a statement that said, "This lawsuit is completely without merit. Anyone who reads the facts will realize that."

Sanderson, however, has a witness who saw the crash. Sanderson's attorney played a video of the witness at a press conference that said he saw Gwyneth Paltrow hit him in the back. The lawsuit further reads, "These defendants realized and/or should have realized that 'hitting and running' away after Paltrow struck and injured [Sanderson,] leaving him alone and later denying or covering up the fact that Paltrow caused the crash would distress [Sanderson] and cause him illness and bodily harm." The suit also states that Sanderson is suing the resort for lack of help.
