One last time, Game of Thrones will premiere on TV for it's eighth and final season. HBO has finally given out the release month of Game of Thrones season 8 and luckily, it's sooner than you think. Usually, the popular fantasy drama opts for a summer release in the West. But looks like this time they will be doing an April release next year. It has been two years since the disastrous season 7 premiere wherein episode leaks and wrongful airing of episodes brought the morale of GoT fans down by a great mile.
However, two years of recuperation time is enough for anyone to get over the row that almost ruined the show for many viewers. Using their official Twitter and Instagram handle, Game of Thrones shared a video with an apt caption stating, “Every battle. Every betrayal. Every risk. Every fight. Every sacrifice. Every death. All #ForTheThrone.” The video is basically a compilation of all the previous seasons and highlights of the seasons that point out the crucial game changers for the show.
Ever since the first pictures of a special cover for Entertainment Weekly featuring Emilia Carke and Kit Harington surfaced, the excitement managed to resurface among fans. Surely, everybody is curious to know what happens now between Daenerys and Jon Snow since they are practically related. All those questions will finally be answered next year in April. Till then, relive the first seven seasons with this video clip shared by the productions house.

As per reports, the director if Game of Thrones, David Nutter, has revealed that the duration of all the episodes of season 8 will be longer than 60 minutes. Damn, that 'oughta be fun! However, many stars from the GoT universe have also stated that everybody might not like the ending. Kit Harington, Sophie Turner and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, to name a few from the show, have stressed upon the fact that not everyone will be happy with the ending. Perhaps because it is going to be a bittersweet farewell? Let's hope that's what they mean by what they've quoted!
