Golden Globes 2018 was recently a huge talk of the town. While the award ceremony was a visual treat to the fans, what took away all the attention is Oprah Winfrey’s motivational speech. Now Oprah’s speech is not a new thing for us as most of the time she is always looked upon as an inspiration guru. However, the reason why she grabbed the eyeballs was her speech which created wide speculations of she is becoming the next presidential candidate. At 75th Golden Globes Awards, Oprah received the Cecil B. DeMille Award. Her speech moistened the eyes of those sitting in front of her as well as those watching it from behind the screens.
As Oprah owned the award ceremony with her speech, the Twitterati was abuzz with heaps of praises for her. It was evident that the iconic lady had motivated many of the minds with just a few words and the Golden Globe Award on her hand. Not only the mango people but even Ivanka Trump took this opportunity to praise Winfrey. She tweeted, “Just saw @Oprah's empowering & inspiring speech at last night’s #GoldenGlobes. Let’s all come together, women & men, & say #TIMESUP! #United.” Other celebs like Pharrell Williams, Neil Pattrick Harris, Mindy Kaling, Natasha Rothwell to name a few too chipped in to admire her. On the other hand, Aziz Ansari of Netflix’s Master of None series became the first American- Asian to win Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Television Series Musical or Comedy.
