The latest promo of Game of Thrones season 8 will literally give you the chills. Twitterati is already tripping hard on how intriguing the teaser looks. This can technically be considered as the first official teaser trailer shared by HBO as anticipated. The latest teaser brings all the Starks under one, dungeon, if you will, while they face an icy threat that's approaching. The teaser can't be considered as footage of the eighth season as it has been independently created by the makers to tease the fans.

It certainly worked. In the new teasers, what's left of the Stark family, Jon Snow, Arya Stark and Sansa Stark, reunite to face the demons of their past. As they walk down a dark hallway only lit by a flame torch held by Jon Snow, they see statues of their dead parents, Ned and Catelyn Stark. A background monologue can be heard where while Catelyn is heard saying, "The horrors that have come to my family... All because I couldn't love a motherless child."

As Jon walks ahead, he hears Ned's voice state, You are a Stark...You might not have my name, but you have my blood.” The three Starks then come face to face as they look at statues of their own selves. Just then, icy chills envelop the atmosphere as the three of them learn of the potential threat that's approaching them. Check out the teaser below.

Interestingly, while all the Stark's have reunited, Bran Stark is not part of this reunion. That says a lot about the theories floating regarding him being the White Walker. In a chat with EW, producer Bryan Cogman was quoted as saying that the final season, “is about all of these disparate characters coming together to face a common enemy, dealing with their own past, and defining the person they want to be in the face of certain death. It’s an incredibly emotional haunting bittersweet final season and I think it honours very much what [author George R.R. Martin] set out to do — which is flipping this kind of story on its head.”

The show is set to release on April 14, this year. The show stars Peter Dinklage, Kit Harington, Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Lena Headey, etc.
