World's favourite Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot, has joined the wacky team of Ralph Breaks The Internet as a new character going by the name Shank. From what we've heard, the character she is voicing is that of a tough and talented driver in a gritty online racing game called Slaughter Race. It might remind you of the famous Jason Statham movie Death Race. We've also learnt how Ralph and Shank, along with Vanellope, venture to the internet in search of a replacement part for Vanellope's game, Sugar Rush.

In fact, Shank and Vanellope even have a race-off where Vanellope expresses her Sugar Rush driving kills, leaving Shank all impressed. On bringing Gal onboard for the project, director Rich Moore stated, “She is the coolest character in this world of Slaughter Race,” and added, “Shank’s lived a lot, she’s seen a lot, yet she’s got nothing but kindness in her heart—that’s the duality of that character.”

Gadot also boasted about her character's ingenuity behind the wheels as she added, “Shank is amazing at driving cars and has this bad-girl vibe to her. But as the movie goes on you realize how fun, wise and warm she really is on the inside, which is what I like most about her.”

According to director/writer Phil Johnston, Gadot adds an extraordinary dimension to the character. “There's so much texture to her voice and so much living in her voice,” he said. “If Ralph is Vanellope's big-brother figure, we wanted a big-sister figure. We wanted someone that Vanellope would look up to, and Gal is definitely someone kids—and a lot of adults I know—aspire to emulate. I can't imagine anyone else embodying that part.”

The film is slated to release on November 23, 2018, in India. Ralph Breaks The Internet is the sequel to the hit film, Wreck it, Ralph.
