Jason Momoa, famously known for being the hottest Aquaman and GoT's Khal Drogo could have been (currently most hated) Star-Lord from Guardians of the Galaxy! While he is now a DC Comics hero with Aquaman, turns out, the actor auditioned for a Marvel movie. During an interaction with Entertainment Weekly, the actor revealed that he admitted that he did an audition for other superhero roles before Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice happened to him.

He stated, "I met the Russo brothers [who directed Captain America: Civil War and Infinity War], who are amazing. It was one of the best meetings I've ever had. I was going to do something with them, which unfortunately didn't work out." With that, he divulged into telling the tale of how he auditioned for a Marvel movie. He further added, "I did an audition for Guardians of the Galaxy, which was super cool. I got to audition with [Chris Pratt], who's just a legend and a gentleman. That didn't work out. And then really the other one after that was my audition for Batman with Zack [Snyder]."

Makes us wonder how different the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the DC Universe would've been if Momoa bagged a role in Marvel but DC. In fact, he almost didn't go for the Batman audition too! On that, the actor revealed that since he was auditioning for Batman - who is a white guy - adding, "I ain't playing Batman." However, he did go over to meet with Zack as he said, "So in the meeting, I just played it as if Batman had died in the alley and some thug picked up his suit and put it on. I just played him as a smart ass, jaded and sarcastic. And that's when Zack was like, 'I have an idea...'"

And that's how, ladies and gentlemen, Aquaman was reinstated in the DC universe, with more panache and respect (and a bitchin' new look!). The film releases on December 14, 2018.
