On August 29, it was announced that the seventh live-action Jurassic Park film (and fourth Jurassic World movie) has a confirmed title and a release date. Titled Jurassic World Rebirth, the movie is all set to release on July 2, 2025, right during the summer releases. Jurassic World Rebirth is directed by Gareth Edwards, who has previously made Monsters, Godzilla (the 2014 one), Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and The Creator. The movie stars Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Luna Blaise, David Iacono,  and Ed Skrein. ‘Jurassic World Rebirth’: Cast, Plot Synopsis, Release Date – All You Need to Know About Scarlett Johansson and Mahershala’s Upcoming Dino Movie.

The thing is, Jurassic World Rebirth is coming in a month that has some major Hollywood releases that have already booked their slots. Since previous Jurassic World movies have all grossed more than USD 1 billion at the global box office, despite the decreasing critical reception, the same box office performance is expected from Jurassic World Rebirth. But with a Marvel and a DC movie coming in the same month, can ScarJo and the Dinos pull it off?

1. Superman (Release Date: July 11, 2025)

Superman is the first film in the rebooted DC universe that brings a new iteration of the Man of Steel. With James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy movies, The Suicide Squad( helming the movie (while also heading the DC Studios), there is plenty of promise here.

2. The Naked Gun (Release Date: July 18, 2025)

Director: Akiva Schaffer

Cast: Liam Neeson, Pamela Anderson, Paul Walter Hauser, Kevin Durand, Danny Huston, Liza Koshy, and CCH Pounder.

The Naked Gun series, once headed by the late great Leslie Nielsen, is getting a reboot with perhaps quite a bizarre casting lead choice, as Liam Neeson is stepping into the role of Frank Drebin, Jr. The Naked Gun Reboot: Pamela Anderson to Romance Liam Neeson in Remake of Leslie Nielsen's Cult Comedy.

3. Untitled I Know What You Did Last Summer Sequel (Release Date: July 18, 2025)

Director: Jennifer Kaytin Robinson

Cast: Camila Mendes, Madelyn Cline, Sarah Pidgeon, Tyriq Withers, Jonah Hauer-King, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Freddie Prinze Jr

After the cold reception to the I Know What You Did Last Summer series, the franchise's makers are returning to the original movies with a sequel that will feature the characters played by Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr, along with a younger cast.

4. The Fantastic Four: First Steps (Release Date: July 25, 2025)

Director: Matt Shakman

Cast: Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Julia Garner, Paul Walter Hauser, Ralph Ineson, John Malkovich, and Natasha Lyonne.

Marvel Cinematic Universe is rebooting the Fantastic Four movies, with Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach taking on the lead roles. The film is set in an alternate universe in the '60s and has Galactus as the main antagonist.
