The movie Free Guy is 20th Century Fox’s epic adventure action comedy. Starring Ryan Reynolds as the Guy, the makers of this film have finally dropped the trailer and it looks promising. This upcoming flick is one of the first Fox films to continue production under the Disney label. This three-minute trailer will give you a glimpse of Guy, who works as a cheery bank teller. Things take a turn when he discovers that he is a non-player character in an open-world video game. The trailer of Free Guy shows how the lead actor wakes up to a normal day and gets ready and heads to work. While Guy is on his way to work, he comes across many occurrences, but yet remains calm and composed. He sees buildings being blown up, hostage situations, and much more. The Free City Bank gets robbed and Guy decides to fight back the robbers. In an attempt to take control of the situation, one of the robbers get killed and Guy takes possession of the dead man’s glasses.
When Guy puts on the glasses he sees something that is totally different from the real world. Guy is exposed to the Free City that is an open-world video game. That’s when he also meets his ally Milly aka Molotov Girl (Jodie Comer). She says, “Guy, this world, it’s a video game, and it’s full of bad guys. At the Comic Con Experience aka CCXP, Ryan Reynolds described this upcoming movie as “a modern-day Back to the Future for this generation.” Director Shawn Levy stated, “It’s not just spectacle — it’s very much connected to the characters. It’s the rise of an idealist in a world that is very cynical and dark.” Free Guy is all set to hit the big screens on July 3, 2020.
