The annual list of Forbes Highest-Paid Actors is out and it's not surprising to see Dwayne Johnson secure the numero uno position in the same. The Baywatch actor has managed to beat the Avengers stars Chris Hemsworth and Robert Downey Jr to be the highest-paid actor in Hollywood. With a total collection of  $89.4 million between June 1, 2018, and June 1, 2019, The Rock is way ahead than his contemporaries and it's not really shocking. 

Speaking about the reasons that make him the highest-paid actor, Johnson collects a straight salary of $23.5 million (his highest quote yet for the Jumanji: The Next Level) in addition to 15% of the pool from high-grossing franchise movies. Clearly, Dwayne's has the best deal in the market today but his fellow buddies like Robert Downey Jr are not far behind. The Iron Man star demands a straight salary of $20 million in addition to his 8% of the pool for his role as the fellow Avengers.

The year belongs to The Rock and we don't know what else he needs to make it better. The Jumanji star recently tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Lauren Hashian and now the news of him being the highest-paid actor.
