Fast and Furious 9 has officially begun as Dom and Letty are back! Yes, actors Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez started shooting for the action franchise's ninth film yesterday and fans cannot control their excitement. Vin Diesel took to Instagram to share a video from the first day of the shoot and it was a delight to catch our favorite characters from the franchise, Dom and Letty hanging out. Fast and Furious Star Vin Diesel Posts a Picture with Late Paul Walker, Says He Is ‘Grateful for the Priceless Memories’.

In the video, Diesel and Rodriguez shared their excitement of working on Fast and Furious 9. The actor said, "We just completed our first day. It feels like a miracle. One hard-earned, but it feels like we’re just so grateful. We’re grateful to you, Universal. We’re grateful for our whole team. Incredible crew, incredible cast, and most importantly we’re so grateful to you, world, that has adopted this franchise.”

First day completed! Blessed beyond words. #Fast9 2020

Sharing the video, Vin captioned it as, "First day completed! Blessed beyond words. #Fast9 2020." What was even more special was that Diesel's close friend and co-star, late actor Paul Walker's daughter commented on the post with multiple heart emojis.

After Walker's death in 2013, the franchise continued ahead and released Furious 7 in 2015. The eighth instalment of the franchise released in 2017, The Fate of the Furious. Furious 9 will bring back actors Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson. Among the new additions, last month John Cena confirmed that he will be joining the cast of Fast and Furious 9.

Over the years, the franchise has gotten bigger and better and enjoys a huge fanfare in India as well. Fast and Furious 9 is being directed by Justin Lin. The film is all set to release in May 2020.
