The much-awaited 2019 Emmy nominations have finally arrived. The 71st Primetime Emmy Awards will air on Sunday, September 22. The coveted awards honour the greatest in television achievements of the past year and we bet you are excited to find out if your favourite characters have received a nomination. We have seen some of the most amazing series in the past year including the likes of Killing Eve, A Very English Scandal, This Is Us and more. Game of Thrones dominated with 32 nominations this year.
The nominations for the 2019 Emmy Awards were announced by Ken Jeong and D'Arcy Carden at the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences' Wolf Theatre in North Hollywood. Game Of Thrones stars, Emilia Clarke and Kit Harrington have received a nomination in the Best Actor and Actress in a Drama Series category. Other actors from the show such as Lena Headey, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams and Gwendoline Christie have got a nomination in the Supporting Actress category for a Drama Series. HBO's recently released mini-series Chernobyl has also found nominations at the Emmys this year.
