While MCU is currently gearing up to welcome the new member in the form of Captain Marvel in its universe, seems like another big name may join the coveted list. Marvel Studios is currently looking out for a new face who will play the second lead besides Scarlett Johansson in Black Widow - her first standalone movie. Production and Casting director Sarah Finn is currently looking for the right candidate who can fit the description provided by the makers. They are seeking an actress who's capable of a physically demanding role and someone who looks very similar to Scarlett Johansson. Black Widow Film Won't Be R-rated: Marvel Head Kevin Feige.

The studio has already shortlisted quite a few names and Harry Potter star, Emma Watson is their major favourite. The HashtagShow.com got hold of the list with Watson and other names that are being considered for different roles in the film. They, however, confirm that no actresses have been offered the role yet but they are simply considering them as a suitable option. While Watson's name may eventually win the race, she may face stiff competition from other contenders. Scarlett Johansson Lands $15 Million Payday for Black Widow.

Apart from the Beauty and the Beast actress, other names to find a place in this list are Alice Englert of Beautiful Creatures, Dar Zuzovsky of Hostages and Florence Pugh. Interestingly the first two names have already auditioned for the role and the studio is mighty impressed with them. While the initial description demanded an actress in the age group of 30-39, makers are willing to expand their horizon if they find a suitable candidate. Well, since the project will start rolling in June, chances are you may hear the big announcement very soon. So let's keep our fingers crossed and pray for Watson's entry in MCU.
