Emilia Clarke Says She's Had to Fight Over Nude Scenes in Other Projects After Makers Pressurised Her Saying Not to Disappoint Game Of Thrones Fans

Emilia Clarke who shot to fame with her act as Daenerys Targaryen aka Khaleesi on Game Of Thrones is one of the most popular faces in Television and cinema today. The actress made her screen debut with the famed HBO series and quickly became a household name. Apart from the show's intriguing storyline and magnificent cast, one of the biggest elements that drew a lot of attention for the show was its nude scenes. The show in its first few seasons comprised of several nude scenes and recently, actress Emilia Clarke opened up about shooting them and the impact they had on her career. Shocking! The Mother of Dragons bared it all in a couple of scenes and recently as she appeared on Dax Shephard's podcast Armchair Expert, spoke about how she was expected to be okay with doing nude scenes for other projects too. During her interaction with Shephard, Clarke said, "I’ve had fights on set before where I’m like, ‘No, the sheet stays up’, and they’re like, ‘You don’t wanna disappoint your Game of Thrones fans’. And I’m like, ‘F*** you.'"

Emilia spoke about being more aware of what she's comfortable with and what she isn't. Recounting the controversial wedding night scene between Daenerys and Khal Drogo in Game Of Thrones, Emilia spoke about how her co-star, Jason Momoa was of great help. She said, "He was an experienced actor who had done a bunch of stuff before coming on to this – he was like, ‘Sweetie, this is how it’s meant to be, this is how it’s not meant to be, and I’m going to make sure that that’s the fucking gaze.’ He was always like, ‘Can we get her a fucking robe? As for her Game Of Thrones stint, Emilia maintained that she was satisfied with the character arc of Daenerys which eventually concluded with her death in the final season. After the series ended, Clarke recently appeared in a rom-com, Last Christmas starring Henry Golding.
