It has spawned a spin-off web series, and now, a sequel-film, El Camino. The new Breaking Bad movie will focus on Jesse Pinkman's escape to a new life, moments after the grand finale of the show. Aaron Paul returns with his bitchin swagger to play the role, and we *just* got a look at the new-old him during the Emmys. A new trailer of the movie was dropped during the awards show and the footage will hype you up. In the new promo, we see Jesse sitting in his car, probably thinking about all the bad choices made in life that have brought him there, at that moment. Radio broadcast announces that the police are on a lookout for a suspect involved in a massacre carried out by an automated machine gun - the finale of Breaking Bad. Jesse is free from his captors but we don't know about his next move. Despite its oddly short length, the trailer manages to pack in just enough substance to get you high.

Vinci Gilligan has returned to write and direct the new movie. In fact, it has been confirmed that 10 characters from the show's arc will make a return for the new branch out.
The development of this Breaking Bad movie has been super secretive, as if the makers shot it at Area 51. The confirmation only came along with the first teaser that dropped a few weeks back. No plot details have been made available, other than the pointer that the movie will follow Jesse Pinkman, after the death of his associate Walter White. If Bryan Cranston has a secret cameo in the movie, the internet will have a collective meltdown. El Camino starts streaming on Netflix in October. We are counting down the days.
