Be still my beating heart for Ed Sheeran and Cherry Seaborn have tied the knot! As per a report on The Sun, the Perfect singer and his hockey star girlfriend said 'I do' in an intimate ceremony. The report further adds that apparently the couple got hitched a little before Christmas at the Brit popstar's English country estate in Suffolk. Keeping it as quiet and intimate as possible, the publication further claims that no celebrities attended the wedding. This means Sheeran's best pals, Rita Ora, Taylor Swift, John Mayer were not at the ceremony to witness the sweet union.
With a footfall of only 40 friends and family members in attendance, Ed and Cherry tied the knot. On the same, a source quoted, "It was very quiet – just Ed's oldest school pals, limited family and the priest," and further added, "He wanted no fuss and he wanted it to be something entirely for them – just a tiny winter wedding." Ed and Cherry weren't too fussy about making their big day a big deal and hence stuck to keeping things private. Said the source, "Neither of them were that fussed about making a big deal about it."

Ed Sheeran first popped the big question in December 2017 and shared her answer on Instagram the following month. He captioned an adorable picture of himself and Cherry, "Got myself a fiancé just before new year. We are very happy and in love, and our cats are chuffed as well."Throughout their relationship, both Ed and Cherry kept things private. After their engagement announcement, reports of the couple had tied the knot surfaced several times. In fact, back in 2018 Feb too, rumours of them marrying did the rounds. However, at the 2018 Brit Awards red carpet, Sheeran clarified that the couple weren't married.

He did add, "I never saw why men didn't wear engagement rings. It's the same commitment either way. Cherry made it for me herself out of silver clay. I really like it." It doesn't come as a surprise that Sheeran chose to keep it an intimate affair. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Sheeran revealed, "I don't like large groups of people at the best of times so.... I never wanted a wedding that was lots of people," he said. Saying that small, simple ceremonies have "a good vibe."
