Dwayne Johnson made his big screen debut in 2001 with a cameo in The Mummy Returns. Two years later, he made his lead debut in the spinoff based on the character in TMR, The Scorpion King. Hobbs And Shaw
Status: Ready For Release
The Rock's next release in this spin-off from the Fast & Furious franchise. Reprising his characters of Hobbs from the franchise, the movie has been paired with Jason Statham's Shaw. Directed by David Leitch, Hobbs & Shaw also stars Idris Elba, Vanessa Kirby and Dame Helen Mirren. The movie will release in July 2019.
Jumanji 3
Status: Shooting in Progress
After the surprise success of Jumanji reboot/sequel, the lead stars of the film, The Rock, Karen Gillan, Kevin Hart and Jack Black are returning for the sequel. The movie also brings back Nick Jonas from the earlier movie. The new entrants are Awkwafina, Danny DeVito and Danny Glover. Jumanji 3 has a December 13, 2019 release date slot.
Jungle Cruise
Status: Filming Over
Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt team up this exciting adventure film that is based on a popular Disneyland ride by the same name. The move is supposed to be a period film and is said to be on the lines of Humphrey Bogart and Katharine Hepburn’s The African Queen. Jungle Cruise is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra.

Back to the Future and Alita: Battle Angel fame Robert Zemeckis is directing Dwayne Johnson for the first time in The King. The historical is based on the life of King Kamehameha, the first ruler of the Kingdom of Hawaii.
San Andreas 2

The blockbuster success of the first San Andreas film has convinced Dwayne Johnson and director Brad Peyton to return for the sequel. Most of the stars who survived the first film, like Carla Gugino, Alexandra Daddario, and Paul Giamatti, are expected to return for the sequel.
Black Adam

During the pre-Justice League era, Dwayne Johnson was announced to play Black Adam and be a primary antagonist in Shazam! Then the studio executives realised the folly of wasting The Rock's charm in a one-off movie, and later revealed that Black Adam would have his own movie. However, there has been no development since this change. Recently, the success of Shazam!, that has The Rock involved as an Executive Producer, has inspired the makers to look into developing the Black Adam movie.
