Tim Burton's Dumbo is receiving positive reviews! The reimagining tale of Disney's classic 1941 animated film recently had a world premiere in Los Angeles that a few audience members attended, including Angelina Jolie and her four kids, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 12, and 10-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox. The attendees have had only good things to say about Burton's version of Dumbo.

Starring Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito, Eva Green, and Alan Arkin in pivotal roles, the film explores the tale of an adorable little elephant who turns from a laughing stock to a circus star. People have called the live-action film beautiful and whimsical. Chris E. Hayner, Entertainment Editor at Gamespot, took to Twitter to share how he thoroughly enjoyed the film. He said, "I really enjoyed #Dumbo . It’s a beautiful and whimsical movie, starring a CGI elephant with so much heart. It’s also a rather simple tale, so don’t expect tons of character depth. But I still had a blast with the ride it took me on and it’s the best Burton’s been in years."

Another Twitter user also emphasised on the relevance of the theme of the film by stating, "The reimagining of #Dumbo in Disney's live-action lexicon soars higher than audiences will expect with its universal storyline, relevant theming, and the adorably rendered CGI-ed elephant that will warm even the coldest of undead hearts." Dumbo releases on March 29

Speaking to People, director Tim Burton had said how Dumbo has always been one of his favourite Disney stories. “It’s a very sweet story, and also very simple and primal — I think that’s why people like it so much. It’s about an outsider, someone who is misperceived, and I’ve always been drawn to stories like that,” he quoted. The film is set to release on March 29, 2019.
