Robert Downey Jr who was last seen in the blockbuster film Avengers: Endgame as Tony Stark / Iron Man will now be seen in the fantasy comedy, Dolittle. This movie was earlier titled as The Voyages of Doctor Dolittle. However, Universal Pictures has renamed the film to Dolittle. The makers have released the first look poster of this upcoming flick, and it not only shows the new title but it also features Robert Downey Jr as Dr John Dolittle who is surrounded by animals. And you will simply agree to the tagline as mentioned in the poster, ‘He’s Just Not A People Person’.

Robert Downey Jr would be seen portraying the character Dr John Dolittle, a veterinarian who has the knack to speak to animals. This poster features a lot furry friends of Dr Dolittle such as giraffe, gorilla, ostrich, polar bear, duck, and more. Robert Downey Jr shared the poster on Instagram and captioned it as, “‘Ello Butty, check back tomorrow (9a PT) for the official #DolittleMovie trailer... Ta-ra love...” Yes, the trailer of Dolittle will be out on October 14!

This movie is an adaptation of The Voyages of Doctor Dolittle, a children’s book by Hugh Lofting. Dolittle also features Antonio Banderas, Michael Sheen, Jim Broadbent and Harry Collett in key roles. John Cena, Marion Cotillard, Carmen Ejogo, Ralph Fiennes, Selena Gomez, Tom Holland, Rami Malek, Kumail Nanjiani, Craig Robinson, Octavia Spencer and Emma Thompson have been roped in for the voice overs of the animals. Dolittle is all set to be released on January 17, 2020.
