While Avengers: Infinity War continues to remain the highest grossing Hollywood movie of the year in India (all time too), subsequent releases from The West have also managed to bring in impressive returns. The latest being the animation feature, Incredibles 2. The sequel to the critically acclaimed 2004 hit, Incredibles 2 showed the world that as long as you have a great film in hand, it doesn't matter that the second-parter comes more than a decade later.

Incredibles 2 has been doing really good in India, even in its second week, especially considering the fact that India has been hooked onto its latest Bollywood movie, Sanju. While the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer has been breaking box office records, Incredibles 2 has managed to hold onto the box office with a weekend collection of Rs 6 crore. This brings the Indian BO collections of the Disney-Pixar movie to Rs 31.76 crore NBOC (Rs 42.13 GBOC).

Meanwhile talking about its worldwide collections, Incredibles 2 has surpassed the life collections of the first film within two weeks. The movie has grossed $646.8 million worldwide, while the first Incredibles film had collected the lifetime worldwide earnings of $633 million. It has also got nearly the same universal acclaim that its predecessor got.

Incredibles 2 is directed by Brad Bird (who was also involved in the scripting), and has a voice-cast involving Craig T Nelson, Holly Hunter, Samuel L Jackson, Sophia Bush, Bob Odenkirk, Catherine Keener and Isabella Rossellini. Kajol had voiced Mrs Incredible aka Elastigirl in the Hindi dubbed version of the movie.
