There were recent rumours that initial test screenings for Deadpool 2 were not upto the mark and this resulted in reshoots. Later, we learn that the reshoots was for a secret cameo and the test screenings got quite positive reviews actually, even better than the first movie. And with the new trailer arriving, the rest of our apprehensions have also been driven away. It is pure R-rated fun!
From the studio that brought you 27 Dresses and The Devil Wears Prada, is not something we expect from Deadpool 2. Ryan Reynolds' Merc With the Mouth gets more raunchy, potty mouthed and delivers some really kickass action sequences in the new trailer. It also gives us some insight into the plot. It looks like Cable comes from the future to kill Julian Dennison's fire-making mutant for some reason, and Deadpool gets involved in the process. To protect the young mutant, he makes his own team called the X-Force, (leading to a dig about being so derivative sounding) to take down Cable. And it features Terry freaking Crews!
The trailer also gives more footage to other fan-favourite characters like Deadpool's fiancee Vanessa, his freaky driver Dopinder, and TJ Miller's Weasel, while also giving spotlight to Zazie Beetz's Domino.

While you are at it, also check out the hilariously crazy synopsis of the trailer given on the YouTube site, "After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover."
Deadpool 2, produced by 20th Century Fox, is directed by David Leitch. Apart from Reynolds, the movie also stars Josh Brolin, Morena Baccarin, Julian Dennison, Zazie Beetz, T.J. Miller, Brianna Hildebrand, Jack Kesy, and Stefan Kapičić.
Deadpool 2 is set to release on May 18.
