James Bond producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli along with onscreen Bond Daniel Craig announced Danny Boyle's exit from the franchise citing creative differences as the reason. The official Twitter handle of James Bond movie tweeted, "Michael G. Wilson, Barbara Broccoli and Daniel Craig today announced that due to creative differences Danny Boyle has decided to no longer direct Bond 25."

While it was earlier stated that the makers roped in Danny Boyle, director of Slumdog Millionaire and Trainspotting, to direct the 25th Bond film. Boyle along with his usual collaborator John Hodge even started working on the script. The production of the film was scheduled to commence in December this year.

Boyle was announced as James Bond's helmer in May 2018 by the film's official handle. “We’ve been expecting you… #Bond25, Daniel Craig’s 5th outing as 007, will be directed by Academy Award-winning Danny Boyle from an original screenplay by John Hodge. Production is set to begin on 3 Dec 2018. MGM will partner with Universal Pictures to release the film worldwide,” read the tweet.

So far the producers haven't divulged who would take up Boyle's position. However, they have ensured that the exit of the director won't affect the project's schedule. The 25th Bond film is slated to release in the U.S on November 8, 2019. With Boyle stepping out, we wonder who would take up the position of the helmer for the project.

The last Bond movie received a tremendous negative response and Daniel Craig had even sworn that he won't return even if he was given heaps of money. But with the makers have roped in Craig for one last Bond film, we wonder if the change in director is going to affect the quality of the film for better or worse.
