The Critics' Choice Awards 2019 had a rather interesting take on the films that impressed them. The Broadcast Film Critics Association and Broadcast Television Journalists Association conducted their annual Critics' Choice wards where they honoured the best of movies and TV in the past year. While Alfonso Cuarón’s b/w family drama Roma continued to earn love and accolades at this Award's ceremony as well, Black Panther received a stupendous number of trophies to boast about!

Christian Bale earned himself two acting honours courtesy his portrayal of the former Vice President, Dick Cheney in Vice. Mahershala Ali took home his trophy for Green Book and Regina King won the best actress in a supporting role for If Beale Street Could Talk. Interestingly, this year, the Best Actress category saw a tie between Glenn Close and Lady Gaga, who took home the trophies. Even the TV segment saw a tie between Amy Adams and Patricia Arquette as they both won the honours of Best Actress in a Limited Series or Movie Made For Television for their roles in Sharp Objects and Escape at Dannemora, respectively.

Rami Malek and Bohemian Rhapsody were shunned by the awards committee while Black Panther raked in a major of the visual department of awards. Check out all the winners of the night below.
