Can you even believe it that it has been 10 years since the first Iron Man movie came out, thus starting the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Well, the first three phases of the MCU will see the culmination with the upcoming Avengers: Endgame. Today, Rober Downey Jr who plays Tony Stark AKA Iron Man is celebrating his 54th birthday. The actor has been carrying the movie franchise on his shoulders for the past decade. Okay, don't go all what about Hulk, Thor, and Spider-Man on us for this. It is Captain America actor Chris Evans who said that. The actor took to his Twitter handle to wish his co-star on his birthday and wrote a very sweet message.
Chris has starred alongside Robert in four movies, and the fifth is upcoming. The two share a great rapport on and off screen. Well, more off-screen, because as of Avengers: Infinity War their characters are not on speaking terms. Chris took to his Twitter and wrote, "Happy birthday to the man, the myth, the incomparable, the indomitable, @RobertDowneyJr," Robert Downey Jr Birthday Special: 5 Reasons Why It Is Impossible to Recast the Iron Man of Our Generation Any Time Soon!
"You’re a true original. Thank you for carrying us these last 10 years!!!!" he added, followed by a blue heart emoji. Check out his Chris Evans's birthday wish for Robert Downey Jr below:

Avengers actor Mark Ruffalo also took to his Twitter handle to wish Robert:

Chris and Robert will be reprising their roles in the upcoming Avengers: Endgame. The two actors did not share a single scene together in the previous film, Avengers: Infinity War. But the promos of Endgame show that we will get to see more their friendship on the screen once again. The two will team up once and for all to defeat the mega-villain Thanos. No more Civil War, we guess.
