The new Charlie's Angels movie looks like a treat. The first trailer of the upcoming action comedy, written and directed by Elizabeth Banks hit the internet today. The new movie features three new femmes fatale played by Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska. Elizabeth stars as the new Bosley. The trailer looks super sleek and high style. The comical moments are subtle. The action in the film is a total upgrade from the previous entries in the Charlie's Angels franchise (the original TV show and film adaptations). The action looks well choreographed and uses much better CGI than from those movies starring Lucy Liu, Cameron Diaz, and Drew Barrymore. PDA Alert! Well, the only complaint I have from the trailer is that it lacks the signature tune from the original Charlie's Angels. I am still hoping that it has been retained in the film at least. If not, the new single, that plays in the trailer, sung by Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande and, Lana Del Rey sounds like a banger as well. Another thing I am expecting from the movie are cameos by Lucy, Drew and Cameron. Check Out 10 Most Stylish Pictures Of The Aladdin Actress Naomi Scott.
The new film will not be a reboot or remake of the Charlie's Angels franchise. It has been revealed by the makers that the movie will take forward the story of the 2000's films and the 70s TV show.
