Here it is! Marvel and Walt Disney surprisingly drop the first proper trailer of Captain Marvel out of the blue and we are damn pleased! Bringing the Academy Award winner Brie Larson into their fold, Captain Marvel is their latest addition to the roster of superheroes in Marvel Cinematic Universe. What makes Captain Marvel so special is that it is the first solo female superhero film in the MCU (poor Black Widow). Captain Marvel First Official Stills OUT! From Brie Larson's Superhero Suit, Kree to Nick Fury With Two Eyes, MCU's Upcoming Film Looks Damn Exciting!

Let's cut short the intro and talk about the two-minute long trailer itself. Well, it begins with Captain Marvel falling from space to a supermarket in the US. It's the '90s and the superhero, whose real name is Carol Davers, tries to find out her allies here which makes her meet Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson), who has two eyes. Carol feels that she had a life on Earth that she can't remember. As she tries to piece together her lost life, we see glimpses of her space adventures, her skirmishes with shape-changing alien-breed Skrull (that old woman!), a teaser of Jude Law as Mar-Vell and also a younger Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) who died during the events of the first Avengers film (but was later resurrected for the Agents of SHIELD series). Finally, we see Captain Marvel in her full power mode!

Captain Marvel also brings back the dead Guardians of the Galaxy Kree villains like Korath (Djimon Hounsou) and Ronan The Accuser (Lee Pace). Ben Mendelsohn plays the main antagonist, Talos, who is the leader of Skrulls.
