Marvel has finished their quota of this year's superhero movies with three back to back successes. They started the year with Black Panther, then moved on to the mega-successful Avengers Infinity War and finally to Ant-Man & The Wasp. Of course, the future looks bright for Marvel and Disney, and they have shared the first official stills of their first superhero property in 2019, Captain Marvel. Oscar-winning actress Brie Larson is making her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as Carol Danvers, a US airforce pilot who becomes one of the most powerful superheroes in Marvel universe.
Marvel Studios have released the first official stills from the film, and things are looking pretty excited. We see Brie Larson in her superhero suit and later teaming up with Jude Law's Mar-Vell. Since the movie is mostly set in the '90s, we also have a picture of SHIELD head Nick Fury, played by Samuel L Jackson, with two eyes. We also get the first look of the alien race, Kree, making their debut in the MCU, while also the return of Ronan The Accuser (Lee Pace), last seen in the first Guardians of the Galaxy, here.
There is another picture of the directors, Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, explaining a scene to Ben Mendelsohn, who plays the main antagonist. You can scroll the pictures in the Insta post below.

Captain Marvel also stars Clark Gregg, Djimon Hounsou, Gemma Chan, Annette Bening and Mckenna Grace. The movie is scheduled to release in March 2019, a couple of months before the release of Avengers 4, where Captain Marvel is said to have a major role in fighting Thanos.
