One of Marvel's most awaited films of the year, Captain Marvel hit the theatres on Women's day 2019, March 8. The film received immense praises from the critics as well as audiences. Reports suggest that the film has earned $20.5 million at the box office in its fourth weekend, putting its worldwide total at $990.6 million and is now all set to make it to the $1 billion mark worldwide. If this feat is achieved by the film, it will find itself in the company of other Marvel films such as Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War, Black Panther, and Avengers: Infinity War. The film saw Larson play the role of Carol Danvers an Air Force pilot who is later introduced to her human roots and finds herself playing a titular role during the Kree-Skrull War.
We have already seen Captain Marvel make an appearance in the Avengers: Endgame and especially the scene involving her along with Thor has been the most-talked-about among fans. Also, with Nicky Fury's disintegration in Avengers: Infinity War, it will be interesting to see the whole story of how Captain Marvel manages to reach Earth again. Avengers:Endgame is all set to release in theatres on April 26.
