Bradley Cooper has emerged as one of the finest actors in Hollywood with some great performances to his name. The actor has successfully broken his 'handsome hunk' image and gone beyond it thanks to his acting prowess. Bradley has starred in films across different genres including action, romance and recently even musicals and made sure to give his best. 1. Silver Linings Playbook

This is not a regular romantic drama. The film starring Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence was one special film. It starred Cooper in the role of Pat Solitano, who is struggling with bipolar disorder. We see his character move back to his parents' house after spending time in a mental institution following a violent episode with his wife's affair. This is one of Bradley's finest performances. Both Lawrence and him truly take this film to another level with their act.

2. A Star is Born 

Not only did Bradley star in this brilliant film along with Lady Gaga but also directed this gem. Cooper stars in a lead role as Jackson, a famous singer who's struggling with alcoholism. The actor also lent his voice for the film's soundtrack and stunned everyone with it. The film won him a lot of praises and what can we say about his chemistry with Gaga, it was simply mindblowing.

3. The Hangover

This is one hilarious comedy-drama and one has to agree that Bradley Cooper as Phil is one of the hottest things in the film. The actor manages to slip into the role of an immature high school teacher looking for his missing drunk friend in Las Vegas far too easily. 4.  American Hustle

The Oscar-nominated film follows a conman (Christian Bale) and his partner (Amy Adams) as they are forced to work for an FBI Agent played exceptionally well by Cooper, who leads them into an underworld of crime and the mafia. As Richie DiMaso, he's simply amazing in this film stacked with some incredible performances.

5. American Sniper 

This Clint Eastwood film is a biographical war drama based on the memoir American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History (2012) by Chris Kyle, with Scott McEwen and Jim DeFelice. The film starred Cooper in the role of Kyle and the moving story clubbed with Bradley's amazing performance are a total winner.
