Black Widow is one 2020's most-anticipated films. It not only kickstarts the next phase of the MCU but also gives Black Widow/ Natasha Romanova her standalone film, which was long overdue. The character sacrficed her life in the final chapter of the Infinity Saga, Avengers: Endgame. So, Black Widow will be a prequel. The first teaser of the film dropped on the internet on December 2 and now we are looking forward to the next promo of the film. The release date is not far away. Black Widow is set after the events of "Captain America: Civil War" but before the events of Avengers: Infinity War. The film will trace the story of Romanoff, who will confront her past, which was hinted at during the hypnosis sequence in Age of Ultron.

Black Widow has been directed by Cate Shortland. The movie also stars  David Harbour, Florence Pugh, O-T Fagbenle, and Rachel Weisz. It will open in theatres on May 1, 2020 in the US. But the superhero action film will open in Indian theatres a day earlier, on April 30, 2020.
