The San Diego Comic-Con has been of huge importance for the Marvel fans. An illustration from the film featuring Black Widow and Taskmaster has been shared by Andy Park, Director of Visual Development and Concept Artist at Marvel. Tweeting the picture, Park wrote, "Check out this 1st reveal of the keyframe illustration I did for the Black Widow film... & TASKMASTER!!!" The illustration shows Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow in full-on action mode as she's hailing a punch at the Taskmaster.

At the Comic-Con, the entire cast of the Black Widow standalone film was revealed. Actors David Harbour as Alexei, Florence Pugh as Yelena, Rachel Weisz as Melina, and O.T. Fagbenle as Mason have been roped in the film. The film is expected to take us through the journey of Natasha Romanoff training to become an assassin and her eventual entry into S.H.I.E.L.D. Ever since the film was announced, fans have been excited about the strong female cast that the film boasts of. While Florence Pugh will be seen in the role of a sister figure to Scarlett's character, we are yet to get more deets about Rachel Weisz's Melina. The film has been helmed by Cate Shortland and is all set to hit the screens on May 1, 2020.
