DCEU has interestingly been focussing on bringing forth stories of the baddies from the universe in full-length feature films. While the studio is gearing up for the release of Joaquin Phoenix's Joker, which has managed to garner astoundingly good reviews and critical appreciation, the next for Warner Bros is Birds of Prey. Starring Margot Robbie as the crazed Harley Quinn, Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)'s new poster has been dropped. On the poster of Birds of Prey, Quinn is seen wearing her classic blonde locks with hues of orange and green, dark red lips and highlighted eyes while she stares dazedly at various characters from the film with wings. Unlike how people usually see stars in daylight, Quinn can be seen seeing people with wings while 'Mind over mayhem' is etched on her neck. From the looks of it, the marketing of Birds Of Prey seems to have kickstarted ahead of the film's release. So far no teaser or trailer has been released by the makers except for a teaser trailer attached to It: Chapter Two. This is perhaps the second look dropped by Margot Robbie who plays the colourful Harley Quinn. As you can see, the poster is loud and showcases what goes within the anti-hero's mind. Meanwhile, the fact that the poster has so much colour, as does the character, we can presume that the film would have a lot of bright shades instead of dark alleys or grim themes. Directed by Cathy Yan, Birds of Prey also stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress, Jurnee-Smollett-Bell as Black Canary, Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya, Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain and Ewan McGregor as Black Mask. The film releases on February 7, 2020.
